what about how people lived in this very cave and the roof is still black from their fires. my mind is still blown.
when people walk on limestone paths for thousands of years sometimes they sink this deep in to the rock. seriously.
they sat us in the back hallway of the restaurant next to the bathroom. redolent of industrial cleners but a nice color pallet.

sometimes (well once so far) it really rains in seattle and we put on slickers and galoshes and rain pants to walk to school. also you might notice it's not actually raining in this shot - by the time we got all geared up the rain had stopped. but we were ready, that is for sure.
riley made 'favorite chicken' from start to finish and then said "this food i made with my own hands tastes so much better."
for one thing shelby is pretty much totally camouflaged in the patchy snow. for another, she is catching a snowball in her mouth.
